Order Information

1. How can I pick the right size?

Each product page has a Size Guide which contains the corresponding measurements both (body measurements and garment measurements) for each size. You can refer to the same to pick the right size.

2. Can I exchange, return or cancel my order?

Unfortunately, we do not offer returns.. However, we offer exchange in the event of a sizing issue . The cost of shipping for exchange and return will be borne by the customer.

3. Do promo codes work on your website?

Yes, our promo codes work on our website. However, we are not associated with any of the third party websites for promo codes. Use code FIRST10 to avail discount on your 1st purchase.

4. I didn’t receive an order confirmation email?

If your card or bank account has been debited but you have not received an order confirmation email from us, please check your spam and promotions folders. If you are still unable to find it, please bring this to our attention immediately so we can check on this. You can write to us at care@ambrosia-india.com with Subject: ORDER CONFIRMATION MISSING

5. I ordered the wrong size, could you please change it prior to order processing?

Yes, we will be able to change the size if you make a request within 24 hours after placing your order with us. After this time it will be difficult for us to accommodate your request as the product would have moved into production.

6. I need to update my delivery address and/or contact details. How do I go about it?

Please write to us at care@ambrosia-india.com with subject line CHANGE IN ADDRESS. If the order has not been dispatched, we would be happy to update these details for you.

7. I want to cancel my order?

If you wish to cancel your order, please write to us at care@ambrosiaindia.in within 24 hours of placing your order to be eligible for a full refund. We do not offer refunds beyond this period. Refunds are only processed for fulfillment errors, such as incorrectly shipped or missing items. The amount will be refunded via the original mode of payment within one week of initiation.

8. Do you offer reverse pickups?

We do not offer reverse pick-ups. The cost of any return and exchange is to be borne by the customer. While sending us your order, please make sure that the sender name and order name remain the same or mention your order number on the parcel. This will avoid all potential communication lags.

9. How do I track my order?

Once your order is shipped, you will receive an email with the Airway Bill number (AWB no.) and courier partner name. Please visit the courier partner website and enter the AWB no. in the relevant form to track the current location of your shipment and the expected date of delivery.

Shipping Information

1. What is the shipping timeline and cost?

Our standard dispatch period ranges from 10 to 14 business days for deliveries within India. Shipping in India is included in the product cost.

2. Do you deliver out of India?

Yes, we ship to almost all major countries.

3. What are the shipping charges and delivery time for International orders?

The cost of international shipping depends on the weight of the shipment and the delivery pin code. You will be able to check the shipping cost real time at checkout while placing your order. International orders mostly take 15-20 business days to be delivered.

4. Can I get my orders faster?

Yes, we do offer expedited production and delivery for certain orders depending on your needs and availability from our end.

5. My courier has not been delivered to me What should I do?

You will receive a tracking link on your email once the order is shipped. In case there is a delay, please reach out to us at care@ambrosia-india.com. We will escalate the issue from our end.

6. What happens if I am not available when you deliver my order?

Every time an order is undelivered, we ensure that it is reattempted according to the customer’s given day and time.

Customisation Information

1. Can a garment be made as per my measurements?

Yes, we offer customisation. All garments can be custom made to fit your body type depending on the fabric availability and can be altered once, courier charges for which have to be borne by the customer. The fit of the garment entirely depends on the measurements provided by the customer. These custom orders are not eligible for exchange or return.

2. Can you make a style in a fabric which is different from the one on the website incase we wish for one or if it is sold out?

We offer all kind of customisations as long as the basic silhouette remains intact, in fabrics available with us at our studio. Please give us a call on +91 9820949559 for any or all custom orders.

3. Do you charge separately for customisation?

We do not charge anything additional for customising to your size. However, depending on the changes requested including increasing the length of the garment by more than a couple of inches, or adding sleeves, additional charges may apply. Similarly, if you would like to discuss something more intricate there may be some additional fees. It will be discussed on a case-to-case basis.

4. Do you keep margins in garments?

Yes we keep 2-3 inches margins in all shirt/dresses. However in pants we don’t keep more than 1 inch margin.

Product information

1. Do you keep ready pieces?

We only make on order in order to reduce wastage also to encourage customised size and minor changes in design to make a perfect piece for you.

2. What fabrics do you use?

Except linen we use 100% handwoven fabrics for our collection . Our collection mostly includes linen, organic kala cotton, cotton Jamdani and Mulberry silk. Our fabrics are sourced from West Bengal, MP and Bihar.

3. Are the product images a true representation of the original product?

We try to capture product images in a way that accurately depicts their true colours and patterns. However, the colours may vary slightly depending on the location and lighting of the shoot. Also our products are handwoven so little imperfections are part of handmade process.

4. How do I take care of my garments?

All our products are made from natural fabrics and mostly handwoven, so they require extra care. We suggest dry cleaning for darker colors specially hand-embroidered pieces. Rest of our products can we hand washed in mild detergent. On each page we have given details about fabric care.

Payments

1. What payment methods do you accept?

We offer payments via Razorpay, which supports payments through Debit Card, Credit Card, UPI and Net Banking. We accept payments via Bank Transfer as well. Please contact us for the bank details.

2. Are the prices inclusive of taxes?

Yes, all prices listed on the website are inclusive of GST.

3. What the payment options for international orders?

You can make a payment via Razorpay which supports payments through all major international credit and debit cards. You can also choose to pay via Paypal. Additional 3-4% of total transaction amount will be charged, depending upon the location.

1. Do you have a store?

We’re an online brand and sell primarily through our website. We do not have a retail space at this time. However, incase one wishes to try on our products before purchasing, we do have stockists in few cities cities across India. Pls contact us to know more about that.
