2020 a year when everything looked possible after experiencing almost 6 months of nationwide lockdown to roughly a year work from home. A year that will be talked about by generations to come for its experiences and learnings. Ambrosia was also born in the same year and is a concept by Anu Tekriwal. She always had an inclination towards slow fashion, minimalism, timeless designs, and comfortable fabric. While living in the bustling locality of Mumbai and working for 9-5 in the corporate world for 8 years she was somewhere trying to find an escape. It was there, where she decided to start her own venture with what she loved the most. She did her one-year diploma from NIFT, Mumbai to understand the craft and textile much better and then conceptualized the brand. She wishes to create a brand that is ethical, sustainable, handcrafted which leads to mindful consumption.
